This week’s This American Life is about story origins.
Most interesting is that one of the stories centers around a legendary creative team from the glory days of ad agency Doyle Dane Bernbach. Now I always knew Bill Bernbach was a legend and I always knew George Lois was a legend but what this story about Lois’ partner and copywriter Julian Koenig suggests, is that he was in fact the mind behind the campaigns that changed advertising forever.
